Happy Father’s Day. Evelyn and her daddy took part in the annual Father’s Day Frog Jump competition in Old Forge. Here she is holding her entrant and checking out the competition. There were 48 other frogs there, including some very large bull frogs.
Before today, we had thought bull frogs were gone from our section of the Adirondacks, but apparently we just live on a frogless lake now. Someone introduced largemouth bass about 10 years ago and they have eliminated our entire frog population.

I caught a frog for Evelyn and her dad to race in the Father’s Day frog jump tomorrow. Rest up froggy, you’ve got a race to win tomorrow.

We had an epic battle at bedtime and Evelyn decided the best place to sleep would be face-down on top of our duffle bag. Hey, at least she finally fell asleep.

Evelyn made this bird feeder at Moms’ club on Friday. It doesn’t seem to be too popular with the animals.
