Carrie’s Project 366

A photo a day, for an entire (leap) year

Day 94 April 30, 2008

Filed under: Bodmin and Zora, Evelyn — Carrie @ 8:56 pm

Evelyn wants to be a professional wrestler when she grows up. Here she is, practicing with the cat.

Day 93 April 29, 2008

Filed under: Ephemera — Carrie @ 7:26 pm

The inside of my washing machine.  Since Evelyn finds it so fascinating, I thought you may as well.

Day 92 April 28, 2008

Filed under: Outside — Carrie @ 7:23 pm

This is the long train tunnel between Bristol and Bath. It goes under the park Weston plays in and we always joke about hopping of the train at the tunnel instead of having to catch a bus home from the station.

Day 91 April 27, 2008

Filed under: Gavin — Carrie @ 7:19 pm

Gavin, naked in the bath.

Day 90 April 26, 2008

Filed under: Bodmin and Zora — Carrie @ 7:30 am

An equal opportunity face shot of Bodmin?  Life is feeling slightly less bad today, so I’m going to make a real effort to get back into the swing of finding interesting things to photograph.

Day 89 April 25, 2008

Filed under: Weston — Carrie @ 7:27 am

Weston has uveitis and couldn’t open his eyes on Thursday night or Friday.  Friday morning we went to the vet and they put dye in his eyes (the faint orange stain on his face) to check for scratches.  He’s getting better, but they’re not sure if he’s going to be able to fly back to the US as scheduled in three weeks.

Day 88 April 24, 2008

Filed under: Evelyn — Carrie @ 7:24 am

Ok, this photo is a big fat lie.  Thursday was horrible beyond belief and involved a big argument, a big dentist trip and Weston not being able to open his eyes.  I realized I hadn’t taken a photo after I got into bed, and I just didn’t have the energy to get out and do it.  So it was the first thing I snapped on Friday morning.  Sorry to let you down, folks.

Day 87 April 23, 2008

Filed under: Ephemera, Food — Carrie @ 7:19 am

Being less wealthy than we’d like, we shop at Lidl. Luckily, that means we can still afford junk. Just not brand name junk. I highly recommend that you never purchase Rusti-Chips. They are icky and nothing like Pringles. Crusti-Croc brand snacks, on the other hand, are pretty good and they make some American-ish potato chips and pretzels.

(I am loath to put this into the “food” category, but I will.)

Day 86 April 22, 2008

Filed under: Animals, Outside — Carrie @ 6:41 pm

There’s a farm in the park near our house, where we walk Weston.  They breed pigs each spring and each winter the pigs “disappear”.  These are the not so little piglets.  They’re still in with their mother, but should be moving to the big pen soon.

Day 85 April 21, 2008

Filed under: Evelyn, Me — Carrie @ 6:51 pm

I tried to do a self-portrait with the timer.  I had some trouble with the focus and didn’t feel like spending too much time in the rain working on it, but the result is an interesting image at least.  Evelyn’s head looks like a little cone-head tumor.
